This is the highest value of exports achieved by the US tech major in a month for the current financial year, the report said. Total iPhone exports from India in the first 8 months of FY26 have reached $14 billion, the paper said.
The export by the Cupertino-headquartered company accounts for around 75 percent of the total shipments from India worth $2.7 billion in the reported month. Samsung, Padget and some third-party exporters were the other contributors to the monthly shipment, BS said.
Most of the Apple’s exports came from its three factories in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka till FY25. The iPhone-maker added two more plants in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka recently, with Tata running three factories and Foxconn controlling the rest.
In the April to November 2025 period, India’s total smartphone exports jumped 43 percent to $18.7 billion over $13 billion recorded in the same period of the previous financial year.
